    • Research any National Park and tell us 3 things you learned about the park. Be sure to also tell us the name and location of the park you chose. Have your grown up email the facts to summerreading@dcpl.info and include your name and age.

    • Create a picture of what you love about Kansas! Paint a picture of the state bird, the Western Meadowlark. Draw a picture of a sunflower. Create a collage of state parks. Be creative and send us a picture at summerreading@dcpl.info

    • ​​Monday Clue #1: In the final week of summer reading Wallace has found himself in a book with a look-alike friend. His little friend wants to go explore! What will they find themselves up to?
    • Wednesday Clue #2: Wallace's friend has worked up quite an appetite. On Monday, he started with an apple. What will he eat from there?
    • Friday Clue #3: Wallace's friend ate and ate and ate! Now his friend is resting in a special house he built, called a chrysalis.
